Waterslide J-Style Offset Guitar Sonic Blue w/Mojo Gold Foil Pickups, StayTrem & Jazzmaster Tremolo

0.00

This is one of my newest custom made Waterslide guitars and it's all "Made in the USA". As with all of my builds, if you like this guitar but would prefer a different neck, pickguard, pickups, etc, just send me a message and we'll see what we can do.

This guitar features a beautifully aged Sonic Blue Nitro Lacquer finish on a lightweight Alder body. The guitar weighs in at 7 lbs 11oz so it's a nice weight for a Jazzmaster-style guitar with tons of sustain & great balance.

The Maple & Rosewood neck has a 50's Soft V-C profile (.85" - .97") and a 25.5" scale length that's 1 11/16" at the bone nut with a 9.5" radius and 6105 frets. It has a light, slightly tinted satin finish that feels great and will not get sticky when playing.

The pickups are Mojo UK Gold Foil pickups which recreate Teisco's design from the 60's. They're very sensitive and detailed pickups that are great for both roots music and shoegaze effects-soaked tones.

The vintage-style bridge is by StayTrem, which is a huge improvement over the original design with better stability, sustain and overall tone. It works well with the Jazzmaster trem in providing accurate tuning and resonance.

There's also CTS audio taper pots, a Sprague Orange Drop cap and cloth covered wiring. The vintage Jazzmaster knobs and fiery single-ply Tortoise guard tie it all together.

Great parts and great care go into these guitars and this one comes in a hardshell case for $1,899 + Shipping. Please email me for international shipping rates.

I also take custom orders!

Demo video was recorded straight into GarageBand so no amps or pedals were used. Watch it HERE
